Who may use the site

You must be at least 18 years old.

What this site is

Local Pros Plus is a directory. We do not vet, screen, license-check, inspect or insure any business, and a listing is not an endorsement or a recommendation.

• Listings that a business has not claimed are compiled from public sources and may be out of date.
• Information on a claimed listing is provided by the business. It is the business's statement, not ours.
• Featured listings are paid placements.
• Ratings from other websites are shown as that website reports them.

Check licensing, insurance, pricing and references directly with any business before you hire it.

Requesting quotes

When you request a quote, we send your details to the businesses named on the form, and those businesses may contact you as described in the consent statements on the form. Those statements are part of your request, and these terms do not change them.

• Once a business receives your request, that business handles your details under its own practices.
• We do not promise that any business will reply, give a quote, or do good work.
• Any agreement for work is between you and the business. We are not a contractor, an agent, or a party to that agreement.
• Give your own real name and contact details. Do not submit a request for someone else without their permission.

Rules for using the site

You may not:

• copy or collect site content with bots, scrapers or other automated tools;
• send false, misleading or spam requests;
• pretend to be another person or business;
• interfere with the site, its security, or its forms;
• use the site to break any law.

Our content

The site, our brand, our written listing descriptions and our graphics belong to us. You may view and share listing pages for personal use. You may not copy the directory or any large part of it.

Business listings

Any business may ask us to correct or remove its listing through our Contact page, and we will act promptly. Business owners who claim a listing also agree to our Business Terms.

Copyright complaints

Include your contact details, the work, where it appears on the site, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized.

When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable the content. We end the accounts of people who infringe copyright more than once.

Other websites

The site links to business websites, maps and other services we do not control. We are not responsible for them.

Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises about the accuracy of listings, the availability of the site, or the conduct or work of any business.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for anything a business does or fails to do. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Your responsibility

You agree to cover our losses and costs from any claim caused by your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

Ending access

We may suspend or end your access to the site, or remove any account or listing, at any time.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Travis County, Texas.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we change the effective date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
